the piece

The Stratum Fluted Chest takes its cues from Art Deco geometry and the distinctive cabinetry of 1940s France. Deeply fluted teakwood gives the exterior a strong rhythm, creating alternating bands of light and shadow that emphasize its sculptural form. The natural warmth of teak balances the rigor of the repeated pattern, lending the chest an inviting character. Designed to bring storage and visual interest into the same space, Stratum feels architectural without becoming austere. It offers a richly dimensional alternative to conventional case goods, equally suited to a carefully edited room or a more eclectic setting.
