The Ochre Teak Chest is inspired by tsugi, a Japanese idea associated here with repair, renewal and continuity. Crafted in reclaimed teakwood, it celebrates material that has a story before its present form. The grain, tone and natural variation of the wood give the chest a sense of depth that cannot be reduced to a uniform finish. Its functional role as storage is matched by a broader design intention: to make the passage of time feel valuable rather than something to conceal. Ochre brings warmth, substance and a quietly collected sensibility to the room.
