The Matrix Shelving Cabinet is inspired by tameru, the Japanese idea of gathering and keeping things that acquire meaning over time. Crafted in reclaimed teakwood, it gives collected objects a setting with its own history and character. The open, ordered framework makes room for books, ceramics and the personal pieces that tell the story of a home. Natural variations in reclaimed wood reinforce the sense that materials, like objects, carry memories forward. Matrix turns storage into a thoughtful act of display, balancing architectural structure with the warmth of a collection assembled slowly and intentionally.
