the piece

Inspired by traditional Japanese sleeping platforms and the disciplined simplicity of Shaker craft, the Horizon Teak Daybed finds beauty in restraint. A plinth base with a teakwood structure provides a warm, substantial foundation, while fabric upholstery softens the experience of the piece. Its expansive, low-slung format blurs the boundary between seating and lounging, making it especially suited to rooms designed for unwinding. Horizon celebrates thoughtful proportion rather than ornament, allowing the natural character of the wood and the upholstery to speak. The result is a quietly sculptural piece that feels equally at home in minimalist and layered interiors.
