Vigil Wall Art
Vigil takes inspiration from the monumental face towers of Bayon at Angkor Thom, translating their sense of presence into a single fractured teakwood form. The sculptural artwork explores the expressive possibilities of carving, with the natural warmth of teak set against an intentionally powerful silhouette. Its reference to ancient architecture lends the piece a contemplative quality without requiring a literal historical setting. Vigil is designed to hold attention through shape, texture and the suggestion of a form emerging from solid material. It offers a distinctive focal point for interiors that embrace art with an architectural sensibility.
