Plinth Side Table
Simple geometry and rich material character define the Plinth Side Table. Teakwood provides the warmth and substance of natural wood, while a concrete element within the central slatted section introduces an unexpected mineral contrast. The composition is deliberately compact, allowing its proportions and materials to make the statement rather than applied decoration. Plinth has the presence of a small sculpture but the versatility of a useful surface beside a chair, sofa or bed. Its appeal is in the balance of solidity and restraint, with each material contributing a distinct texture to the whole.
