Basalt Lounge Chair
The Basalt Lounge Chair references the assertive seating forms of Paul Evans, Milo Baughman and the early Italian avant-garde. Upholstered in distressed leather, it embraces the visual depth and lived-in character of a surface that feels rich rather than pristine. Its generous lounge-chair proportions lend it a substantial presence, making Basalt an inviting anchor for a reading area or conversation space. The design draws energy from the tension between a bold silhouette and tactile upholstery. Basalt is furniture with attitude, intended to feel as compelling in a collected interior as in a pared-back room.
